How I Practice
I chose this space to practice medicine the way I was trained to — not the way commercial pressure often pushes doctors to. These are the principles I hold myself to.
Minimal prescriptions by default
If paracetamol at home is the right answer, I'll tell you that — clearly, and without padding the prescription with vitamins or syrups to look more thorough. A short prescription can be the most honest outcome of a good consultation.
Antibiotics only when clinically indicated
Most childhood fevers and upper respiratory infections are viral. Antibiotics don't help them and can cause real harm over time. I follow IAP guidelines strictly and explain my reasoning when I do — or don't — prescribe them.
No tests without a reason I can explain
Every investigation I recommend has a specific clinical question it's meant to answer — and I'll tell you what that question is. I don't order panels to seem thorough or to generate referral revenue. Your money and your child's comfort matter.
I follow up after you leave
I do periodic check-ins after visits to understand how your child is recovering. It's not standard practice in most clinics, but knowing the outcome is part of what good medicine looks like to me.
A note on scope
My practice covers general paediatrics — illnesses, vaccinations, newborn care, growth monitoring, and general development guidance for children from birth through adolescence.
I welcome your feedback
I value honest feedback and comments on my practice — it's how I learn and grow as a doctor. I'm human, and I know I can make mistakes. When I do, I'd rather hear about it so I have the opportunity to correct it. Your feedback makes me a better paediatrician.
Come see if this is the right fit
If honest, minimalist paediatric practice is what you've been looking for, book a consultation. I'll give you my honest assessment — and a prescription with only what your child needs.
